3-Year Guarantee - Installation & Workmanship

Coverage Duration: 3 years from the date of completed installation

1. Scope of Guarantee

This guarantee covers faults or defects arising as a direct result of poor workmanship or incorrect installation carried out by us during the fitting of bathroom fixtures and related products. The guarantee is valid for a period of 3 years from the date of installation completion and includes:

  • Installation of bathroom suites, showers, taps, sinks, toilets, and basins

  • Tiling, grouting, and waterproofing work

  • Pipework, plumbing connections, and associated fittings

  • Furniture and fixture installation

  • Electrical fittings related to the bathroom 

2. What Is Covered

  • Leaks or water ingress caused by incorrect installation

  • Loose or detached fixtures due to poor workmanship

  • Faulty joints or grouting

  • Misaligned fittings or incorrect placement

  • Structural issues caused by poor installation practices

3. What Is Not Covered

  • Wear and tear from normal use

  • Damage caused by misuse, negligence, or lack of proper maintenance

  • Faults in materials or products not supplied by us

  • Damage caused by other tradespersons or DIY work post-installation

  • Silicone degradation over time (silicone should be checked and maintained regularly)

  • Issues caused by movement or structural changes in the property

  • Limescale build-up, blockages, or damage from water pressure issues

  • Electrical faults unless related directly to installation workmanship

4. Guarantee Conditions

To qualify for this guarantee, the following conditions must be met:

  • The installation must have been carried out by us or an approved subcontractor under our management

  • Any faults must be reported to us in an email within 14 days of first being noticed

  • The customer must allow reasonable access for inspection and repair

  • All invoices must have been paid in full

5. Remedial Action

If a covered defect is reported within the guarantee period:

  • We will inspect the issue within a reasonable time frame

  • If deemed our responsibility, we will carry out the necessary remedial work at no charge

  • If the issue is found to be unrelated to our workmanship, we reserve the right to charge for call-outs or repairs

6. Transferability

This guarantee is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser and property at the time of installation

7. Limitation of Liability

This guarantee is limited strictly to the repair or rectification of installation or workmanship faults. We are not liable for:

  • Consequential or indirect losses

  • Personal injury or property damage caused by misuse or third-party interference

8. Statutory Rights

This guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights and does not affect them in any way.

We are committed to offering our customers the best value for money. If you receive a lower genuine quote for the same service, we’ll match it or beat it – guaranteed.

2. What’s Covered

Our Price Match Guarantee applies to:

  • All work we quote for

3. Conditions for Price Match

To qualify for our price match guarantee, the following conditions must be met:

  • The competing quote must be from a UK business based within a 30 mile radius of the property

  • The quote must be in writing, dated within the last 30 days, and must clearly outline:

    • The same scope of work

    • The same or comparable quality materials

    • Timelines and labour terms

  • The competitor must be offering like-for-like services, including:

    • Fully insured work

    • Qualified and certified tradespeople

    • Equivalent workmanship guarantees

4. What’s Not Covered

We will not price match:

  • Promotional offers, time-limited discounts, or clearance pricing

  • Quotes that involve substandard materials or lower specification work

  • DIY services or services where the customer supplies labour/materials

  • Quotes that don’t include the same warranty or aftercare

5. How to Claim

To claim under our Price Match Guarantee:

  1. Provide a copy of the competitor’s written quote.

  2. Email it to us at contact@stroudbathroomfitters.co.uk

  3. We will review and verify the quote within 2–3 business days.

  4. Once approved, we’ll provide a matching or lower quote based on the same scope.

6. Final Decision

We reserves the right to:

  • Decline a price match request if the competing quote does not meet the above conditions

  • Withdraw or amend this offer at any time without prior notice

7. Statutory Rights

This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights.
